SplendUp was founded by Laurie Guillodo and Eugénie Néau Chaltiel, bringing deep expertise in recruitment and tech to solve one of the industry's biggest challenges: nurturing relationships rather than relying on transactional CV submissions. In just over a year, we’ve validated the market opportunity, securing paying customers in the USA, UK, and across Europe.
This €500k funding round was led by a group of business angels bringing invaluable expertise in recruitment and entrepreneurship. We’re proud to have the support of stellar investors including: Axel & Hugo Manoukian, founders of MoovOne (HRTech); Guillaume Moubeche, CEO of Lempire; Clément Galopin, founder of Octolis (Customer Data); Eliott Reilhac, a repeat founder, now CEO of Formality; and Domino RH, a leading French HR & recruitment group.
We’re also backed by US recruitment experts like Donald Knight (SVP of People & Culture at Warner Bros), and JT Haskell (Director of TA at Reddit) and Josh McAfee (founder of multiple recruiting firms, including Humans Doing).
With this new funding, we’ll be laser-focused on hitting product-market fit and growing towards €1M ARR. Our immediate priority? First, growing our team! We’ve hired our Founding Engineer and will soon open roles in Sales and Customer Success. We’ll also ramp up our go-to-market efforts and evolve our platform into an AI-powered, data-driven recruitment solution.
